SOUND MARKETING
POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The goal behind Sound Marketing Power Distribution Systems (PDS) is to provide clean power with the most efficient transfer from the wall outlet to the equipment being powered. This goal is achieved by using high quality components and simple but effective filtering techniques.
Every component used in our PDS is selected based on its technical and sonic merit. We use conductors and receptacles that offer very low resistance which maximizes power transfer.
The filtering is done passively in a manner that does not restrict current flow. This is very important in high performance audio systems because the dynamic range of the system is not compromised. The filter is designed to reject high frequency interference that can be problematic to audio and video systems. The elimination of high frequency interference results in improved transparency and resolution.
The ability to work effectively with a wide range of equipment is a hallmark of this design. This is due to a filter design that does not react negatively with the power input circuitry of various types of equipment.
The design of the PDS is based on sound electrical engineering principles with an emphasis on improving the performance of audio and video systems. There is no “voodoo” or weird science.
